Terra TV with new contents and available in BlackBerry

Within the framework of the second edition of Órbita 2009, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Internet portal Terra TV announced the availability of 20th Century FOX new series and movies. On the other hand, the portal disclosed an agreement with RIM, by means of which BlackBerry users will have access to personalized contents directly from their smartphones.

Terra TV will offer seasons of 24, Prison Break, My name is Earl, Family Guy, Archivo X, American Dad, Bones, Boston Legal and Buffy. "The agreement with 20th Century FOX plays a key role for Terra. Our expectations are aimed at additionally increasing the number of internet visits in Terra TV, which currently records about seven million single visitors on a monthly basis only in Brazil", Fernando Madeira, General Director of Terra Latin America, explained.

BlackBerry users, of any model, will have access to Terra Web Launcher, which accounts for an icon of fast access to Terra Mobile's contents (available in Portuguese and Spanish). The Web Launcher will enable users to have access to a wide variety of news, sports, entertainment and lifestyle contents.
